Hicks – Glover

Announcement is made today of the engagement of Amanda Louise Hicks, 190 Millard Cable Road, Butler, and Kevin Lee Glover, 146 D.O. Johnson Road, Hampton.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jerry and Delores Hicks. She is the granddaughter of the late Millard and Mary Cable and William and Margie Hicks.

Amanda is employed at Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

Her fiancé is the son of John Sr. and Patricia Glover. He is the grandson of the late Gurney and Ruby Whitehead and Paul and Julia Glover.

Kevin is employed by Snap-On Tools in Elizabethton.

The couple will be married at a private location on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 3 p.m.
