Jennifer M. Hicks of Elizabethton and Jody Wagner of Butler are today announcing their engagement and upcoming marriage.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mary and Randy Lewis of Elizabethton and the late Larry Hicks. She is the granddaughter of Inez and John Reichard and Shirley Johnson, all of Elizabethton, and the late Willard Hicks.
Jennifer is a graduate of Elizabethton High School.
Her fiancé is the son of Mel and Teresa Wagner, 328 Sugar Grove Church Road, Butler. He is the grandson of Eva Johnson of Butler and the late Bonnie and Vaught Wagner.
Jody is a graduate of Johnson County High School.
The couple will be married during an outdoor ceremony in Butler on Saturday, April 14, 2002, at noon.
