Honor Flight ‘Tribute to Veterans’ to include spaghetti meal, music

Honor Flight of Northeast Tennessee will present “A Tribute to Heroes” Saturday, Sept. 15, from 2 to 9 p.m. at Fountain of Life Church, 118 Julie Lane, Johnson City.

Dale Ford will put on a spaghetti dinner benefit featuring spaghetti, salad and garlic bread with Honor Flight providing desserts and beverages. Meals will be served throughout the event. Donations are accepted at the door.

Music will be provided by Jerry Pierce and the Nightlife Band from 2:15 to 4 p.m.; Tony Peters and Emily Spencer from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. and Elvis and Marilyn from 7 to 9 p.m.

The public is invited to come out and support Honor Flight of Northeast Tennessee, an organization that transports veterans to Washington, D.C. The next flight is scheduled for October.
