Shalee Perry came out hotter than a two-dollar pistol in what Happy Valley fans hope was not her last game inside of Bayless Gymnasium.
The senior point guard amassed 24 points, 10 assists, six steals and five rebounds in leading the Lady Warriors past Chuckey-Doak 65-49 in the quarterfinals of the Region 1-AA tournament.
Happy Valley shot a blistering 15-of-21 (71 percent) from the field in the first half, going 5-of-8 from behind the three-point line. A modest 17-12 lead after the first quarter had ballooned to 38-18 by intermission.
