Janice Willette Ericson says “it’s an honor” to join the Carter County Educators Hall of Fame.

She will be one of four new inductees to be honored Saturday.

Since 2006, the Imagination Library has sponsored the Hall of Fame. Each year, four teachers are selected for the honor, two from Elizabethton City school system and two from the Carter county school system. Two teachers are chosen posthumously, and two are retired.
