JCHS golfer Timbs cards hole-in-one at RedTail

By

MOUNTAIN CITY — What was really overall a rough outing of golf for Nathan Timbs had one moment that he will never forget.
The Johnson County High School standout made a hole-in-one on No. 4 at RedTail Mountain Golf Club on Monday in the Longhorns’ practice round that determined the seeds for the first match of the year.
Timbs finished second in the round, one stroke behind Blade Hampton. However, none of that mattered to Timbs.
What did matter was the magic he made on hole No. 4.
Timbs bogeyed the first three holes and was having one of those days when he took a rip on the Par 3 hole from 118 yards out.
