Johnson County tennis has room for optimism

Johnson County’s boys will shoot to apply the pressure for dominance in the Three Rivers Conference tennis race.
“We should be fairly competitive,” Johnson County coach Steve Nave said. “I think Elizabethton will probably be the top team. I hope we can challenge them.”
Timmy Bellamy is the top seed in singles. Fellow senior Ryan Whitener is No. 2.
Travis Stockinger, another senior, is the third seed. His younger brother, sophomore Mitchell Stockinger, is at No. 4.
