An offensive onslaught put on by a trifecta of Hurleys and some blunders on the field from Hampton propelled T.A. Dugger to a 10-3 non-conference victory at Elizabethton High Monday evening.
“It’s always good motivation to start off with a win,” Jr. Cyclones coach Chris Berry said. “Hampton played a good game and we’ll improve from this as we start playing in our conference.”
The game was suppressed with offense going into the bottom of the fifth inning, with TAD (3-2) holding a slim 2-1 lead over the Jr. Bulldogs.
