Jr. Longhorns prevail in lopsided fashion

By

Three turnovers in less than a two-minute span made the night sweeter than a bakery filled with Krispy Kreme doughnuts for Johnson County Middle School on Thursday night.

The Jr. Longhorns scored off all three en route to their 38-0 win over Ashe County, N.C., inside of Paul McEwen Stadium.

It looked like the night would be a defensive battle as both teams had trouble moving the football during the first quarter. Coach Matt Bray’s squad used a long touchdown run to get the ball rolling.
