Winning the Little Watauga Conference Championship bowl game is starting to become habit forming for Johnson County.
For the third time in four years, the Jr. Longhorns prevailed — and this time was a real charm. They capped off a perfect 9-0 season by knocking off Hampton 24-6 before a large crowd at Paul H. McEwen Stadium on Thursday night.
It was the second time in two weeks that the pair had met. The ‘Horns escaped with an 8-0 victory in the previous matchup, but that wasn’t the case on this night.
