Kindergarteners receive hands-on fire training
Several firefighters, a librarian, a dental assistant, a nurse and a deputy with his K9 visited children this past week at Central Elementary School for the Community Helpers program.

Teacher Angela Carrico said each of the Community Helpers visited the kindergarten classes and spoke about their jobs. All of the visitors also brought in plenty of hands-on activities, as well. “We are learning about community helpers,” Carrico said.
