Knox woman parked in front of elementary school gets DUI

KNOXVILLE (AP) — A Knox County woman was charged with DUI after she left her car in front of an elementary school and passed out in the back seat.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reports someone called the sheriff’s department at about 7 a.m. Friday because the car was parked in the student drop-off lane. It had been driven onto the curb and two tires were blown. Parents taking their children to school had to drive around it.
