Lady Buffs upend Union

Milligan made the send-off of three seniors special Wednesday night with a big second-half charge that lifted the Lady Buffs over Appalachian Athletic Conference opponent Union County (Ky.) 75-63 on senior night at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse.
The win marks the seventh straight win at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse for the Buffs (13-2, 20-8) in their series with the Bulldogs. It also leaves Milligan knotted up with Tennessee Wesleyan atop the Appalachian Athletic Conference standings on the eve of a showdown between the two squads in Athens on Saturday.
