Lady Bulldogs breeze past Rangers

Hampton’s girls were back to their old ways on Tuesday night.
Regrouping from a one-point defeat at the hands of Cloudland, the Lady Bulldogs pounded Unaka 58-32 in Watauga Valley Conference basketball action at Snavely Gymnasium.
“I was very proud of our team,” Hampton coach Leon Tolley said. “We showed a lot of resolve after the loss to Cloudland.”
Dorothy Dugger paced the Bulldogs (17-5) with 19 points and four steals. She drained three 3-pointers.
