Lady Cyclones advance to Region 1-AA final

South Greene discovered that the hard way.
The Lady Cyclones used a strong first half to build a double-digit lead and held back a second-half charge from the Lady Rebels in a 69-61 Region 1-AA semifinal victory Monday at Treadway Gymnasium.
With the win, the Lady Cyclones will host unbeaten Grainger, which improved to 32-0 with a 53-26 decision over Happy Valley, Wednesday at 7 p.m. for region bragging rights and a home sectional game.
