Lady Highlanders, Bulldogs set to collide in 1-A final

The road to Murfreesboro can be a long one for some teams, but for Cloudland and Hampton it’s been like an obstacle course.
Neither team is there yet, but they both took a giant step in that direction on Monday by knocking off state-ranked teams.
The Lady Highlanders (23-11) ended No 4 Cosby’s season 39-35 while the Lady Bulldogs (26-8) shocked No 7 North Greene 36-31.
By doing so, they will meet in tonight’s regional championship game — with the winner guaranteed a home sub-state game Saturday. The loser must go on the road.
