Lady Longhorns repel Hampton

It took only five innings for Johnson County to dispose of Hampton 11-1 on Tuesday. The Lady Longhorns scored seven runs over the first two innings, which led to an easy win at Kirksey Field.
Brianna Snyder allowed only four hits in the game to earn the win.
Ashley Arnold, Linnea Yongue, Kelsey Duperry and Hope Nelson had two hits and a pair of RBIs each to lead the way at the plate. Jayme Jennings, Abby Reece and Kristen Roark each collected one.
Carmen Calderon, Danielle Guinn, Maggie Burchett and Taylor Berry had the only hits in the game for Hampton.
