Little margin for error in District 1-A

Cloudland, Hampton and Unaka will set their sights on the District 1-A basketball championship when play begins today. Games will be played inside the new gymnasium at Science Hill High School.
Today’s games find Unaka (13-14) taking University (11-13) at 6 p.m. while Hampton (17-13) meets North Greene (13-13) at 7:30.
It’s been an up-and-down season for the talented Bulldogs, who were picked as the preseason favorite to win the league.
Hampton has lost five of its last six games and four games being decided in the final minute.
