GRAY — Little Milligan and Hampton each dominated opening-round play of the Trailblazer Classic on Monday evening.
The Buffaloes remained undefeated in disposing of Blountville 40-29. Hampton, bouncing back from a pair of losses last week, rolled over Ridgeview 50-21 in the middle school basketball tournament at Daniel Boone High School.

Dakota Crumley erupted for 17 points and 15 rebounds to pace the Buffs (11-0).
“Dakota — maximum effort, great guy,” Little Milligan coach J.R. Campbell said. “Like I get from all of my kids. We were a basket or two away from breaking it open in the first half. We shot real well, I thought.”
Indeed, the Buffs surged to an 11-0 lead. It was 13-5 heading into the second quarter, behind five points from Crumley and four apiece from Charlie Butler and Jose Velazquez.
The Bulldogs (8-2) raced to a 13-0 advantage and hammered the Raptors.
Losses to Cloudland and Happy Valley were a distant memory.
“We were looking to come out and prove something after last week,” Hampton coach Dewayne Humphrey said. “I felt like we got embarrassed on Thursday night, and our kids really wanted to come out and start fast. It kind of set the tempo for the entire game.”
Chris Holtsclaw paced the Bulldogs with 16 points, seven rebounds and three steals. Jordan Bridwell added seven points and five boards.
