Local woman accused of passing counterfeit money orders, checks
The Carter County grand jury has charged an Elizabethton woman for allegedly passing counterfeit money orders and travelers checks at a local bank.
Kimberly Dare Greer, 27, of 103 Atkins Drive, Elizabethton, was arrested by Elizabethton Police Department Patrolman Jonathan King on Tuesday on an indictment charging her with seven counts of criminal simulation. She was booked into the Carter County Jail with a $50,000 bond.
