MOUNTAIN CITY — A momentum-swinger? Johnson County certainly hopes so.
The Longhorns amassed 16 hits and rode a complete game effort from Ryan Mahala en route to their second conference win of the week, 15-4 over Happy Valley in five innings Friday on their home turf.
The Warriors, who had seven guys absent due to prom, turned to some younger arms and fielders. Johnson County took advantage of it with seven runs in the second inning and a five-run fourth.
