A Johnson City man was arrested this weekend after a sheriff’s deputy said he fired shots from his vehicle outside the house where he picked up his son.
On Sunday, Carter County Sheriff’s Deputy Paul Morell arrested Toby Scott Richardson, 28, 205 Okolona Road, after he said witnesses told him he fired six shots from a semi-automatic rifle into the air outside a house on Sciota Road.
In the arrest report, Morell said he responded to a report of shots fired at approximately 8:50 p.m. and met with the homeowner, Terry Hodge.
Morell said Hodge told him Richardson had called and said he was going to come to his house to pick up his son, who Hodge had been watching since Dec. 20.
