Man critically injured in Roan Mountain wreck

A two-vehicle crash critically injured a passenger early Tuesday morning in Roan Mountain.

Tennessee Highway Patrol Spokeswoman Dalya Qualls said Bradley S. Whitson, 19, Elizabethton, was taken to the Johnson City Medical Center after the collision on U.S. Highway 19E near Mile Marker 7 in Roan Mountain.

A trooper said Whitson was in critical but stable condition late Tuesday morning. The trooper said Whitson may have suffered broken bones.
