Man faces additional charges for Roan Mountain burglary

Deputies have filed felony charges against an Elizabethton man after they found him inside a Roan Mountain house on Sunday.

Officers with the Carter County Sheriff’s Department were looking for Jamie Derrick Shell, 29, of 114 Roan St., Roan Mountain, and were informed he was staying at 195 Log Cabin Lane. Shell was wanted on a warrant charging him with aggravated burglary and theft over $1,000.
