Man pleads guilty to robbery, mobile meth lab charge
An Elizabethton man entered into a plea agreement on Wednesday to methamphetamine charges in Carter County and robbery charges in Unicoi County.
Mark Wallace Crable Jr., 23, of 107 Cades Road, Johnson City, appeared in Carter County Criminal Court before Judge Jon Kerry Blackwood. He had been accused of driving a vehicle with a mobile meth lab in 2011 and robbing a man in October of 2010 in Unicoi County.
Crable pleaded guilty to an amended charge of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and leaving the scene of an accident in the Carter County case. He has agreed to a 10-year sentence, with one year in jail and nine years with the Alternative Community Corrections Program.
