Marshal and Susie Combs to celebrate 48th anniversary

Marshal and Susie Carden Combs, Raven Rock Cove, Elizabethton, will celebrate their 48th anniversary on Sept. 30.

The couple married on Sept. 30, 1963. The couple was married by Loren Pyles in Bristol, Va.

Mrs. Combs is the former Susie Carden.

They are the parents of two daughters and sons-in-law, Gayla and Jeff Constable and Melissa and Jerry Richardson.

They have four grandchildren, Dustin and Wendy Potter, Brandon and Crystal Combs, Ethan Markland and Makayla Constable.

They have seven great-grandchildren, Karlee, Kendra, Taylor, Eaon, Gauge, DaKayta and the late Shawn Michael Potter.
