Memphis boy killed in handgun accident

MEMPHIS — Memphis police have identified a 4-year-old boy who was fatally shot, apparently while playing with a handgun.

According to the Commercial Appeal, police said late Monday night that the victim was Joshua Johnson.

No arrests were immediately made.

A neighbor told reporters three adults and two children lived in the apartment when there the shooting occurred.
