Meth lab components, other drugs found during traffic stop

Police officers who stopped a vehicle on Saturday for failing to yield at an intersection found methamphetamine lab components and other drugs in the car.

 

Officer Sarah Ellison of the Elizabethton Police Department said she observed a Ford Taurus fail to yield the right of way on Johnson Avenue at Stateline Road on Saturday evening. The officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle in the parking lot of J&W Market, at the corner of Johnson Avenue and Sycamore Street.
