Milligan College’s tennis teams head to Atlanta’s national qualifying tournament on a winning note.
The men, in fact, just captured the first Appalachian Athletic Conference regular-season championship in the program’s history.
“We had gotten some new kids in from last year to this year,” Milligan coach Ryan Reynolds said on Monday. “The men’s team has just improved from the first match, and I think this season’s legitimate goal was to win the conference. We thought it would still be hard to do, but our guys worked hard, definitely had a chance at that goal and deserved it.”
