If a section of the Great Wall of China were to fall, it could be easily fixed with the bricks offered up by Milligan College on Tuesday night at Steve Lacy Fieldhouse in an unusually early Appalachian Athletic Conference match with Union College.
The Buffaloes (3-1 overall, 0-1 AAC) missed 21 free throws and shot just 2-for-23 from three-point range as they fell 80-72 to the Bulldogs.
“It’s amazing, we shoot 100 free throws a day,” said Buffs head coach Bill Robinson. “Everyone does. What hurt is that our best free-throw shooters didn’t get fouled. We have good shooters who got good looks and that makes it frustrating.”

Another matchup problem for Milligan came in the form of Lady Bulldogs center Lydia Nash, who scored a game-high 23 points as Union improved to 2-1 (1-0 AAC).
