Milligan president believes United Way can reach goal

The president of Milligan College told the United Way of Elizabethton/Carter County on Monday that he believes the organization can reach its 2012- 2013 goal of $182,000.

Dr. Bill Greer, who is this year’s campaign chair, participated in the United Way’s meeting on Monday for lunch at the Pine Room in Elizabethton.

“I’m optimistic that we’ll have a great year,” Greer said.

Greer became president at Milligan College in 2011. Prior to that, he was vice president for institutional advancement at the college. He was instrumental in fundraising efforts for the college.
