An Elizabethton man picked up his 17th arrest on a charge of driving on a revoked license after he was spotted by a Carter County sheriff’s deputy who was aware of his driving history.

On Friday, Stephen Brian Pritchard, 45, 117 Jade Drive, was arrested by Carter County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Keith Range after Range said he recognized him while driving.

In the arrest report, Range said that he passed a red Jeep driving south on Lynn Avenue on Friday, then recognized Pritchard as the driver. Range said he knew Pritchard was driving on a revoked license, and that there was a warrant for his arrest from Carter County General Sessions Court.
