Mountain Home Nat’l Cemetery names Sisk as new director

Donnie Sisk was named Director of Mountain Home National Cemetery on May 24. In this role he is responsible for all burial, maintenance and administrative operations at the facility.

Sisk was previously assigned as the Assistant to the Director at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Ala. He is a 2011 graduate of the comprehensive year-long Cemetery Director Intern Program at the national Cemetery Administration (NCA) National Training Center in St. Louis.

Prior to his transfer to the National Cemetery Service, Sisk served 10 years as a disability claims adjudicator and management analyst with the Veterans VBenefits Administration.

Sisk is an Army and Air Force veteran with more than 20 years combined service. Currently, he is a Captain in the Uniterd States Army Reserve. He is a member of the American Legion and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

Sisk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Management and Russian Language.
