Andrea Carden Phillips, 32, Johnson City, passed away Monday, September 17, 2012, at her residence.
Andrea was a native of Queens, N.Y., and had lived in Elizabethton since 1985. She was a 1998 graduate of Elizabethton High School. At the present time she was a senior at East Tennessee State University.
Andrea was an over the road truck driver for several years. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Andrew Carden.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy R. Phillips; her mother, Rosemarie Emser Carden, Elizabethton; and a brother, Steve Carden, Memphis.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Phillips will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 22, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Father Dennis Kress officiating. Interment will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
