Harold Eugene Gouge, 67, of Johnson City, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, January 29, 2013, at Johnson City Medical Center.
He was born in Johnson City, a son of the late Walter and Virginia Ruth McKeehan Gouge.
Harold was a 1963 graduate of Happy Valley High School and a self-employed Stone and Brick Mason. He was a member of the Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Harold was an avid bowler.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Sadler Gouge; a daughter, Janie Lee Gouge and Chad Righi, Johnson City; a grandson, Hayden Michael Righi; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Nina Gouge, Elizabethton, and Wayne and Barbara Gouge, Johnson City. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Graveside services for Mr. Gouge will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, February 1, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be his Holiday Lane bowling buddies. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 1:20 p.m. Friday to go to the cemetery.
