Joshua Holston


Joshua Christopher Holston “Booger,” age 4, of Elizabethton, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Sycamore Shoals Hospital. He was the son of Tiffani Marie Holston and Christopher Davis, both of Elizabethton, and was born on March 12, 2008, in Elizabethton. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Diane Perry; one aunt, Kathy Stuffer and one uncle, Joshua Meadows. Joshua enjoyed fishing, working with his dad, catching crickets, spending time with his Nana, finding pennies, playing baseball and feeding the ducks at the Covered Bridge.

In addition to his parents, Joshua is survived by a sister, Kylie Davis, of the home; maternal nana, Charlene Saunders, Unicoi; paternal grandfather, Sherrill Pickering and wife, Samantha, Elizabethton; paternal grandmother, Sandra Davis, Elizabethton; three aunts, Amber Mayse, Stacy Nave and Taylor Pickering, all of Elizabethton; special cousins, Logan Stines and Kelsey Mayse, both of Johnson City; and several other cousins. Also surviving are special friends, James Ward, Raymond Bowers, Darrick Moody, Chris Trivette, the employees of Big Johns Closeouts, and his special friend and dog, Franklin.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, Oct. 14, in the Chapel of Peace of Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Mr. James Ward officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel on Sunday from 2-4 p.m., prior to the service and at the residence at other times.
