By

Linda Ann Gray, 63, of Roan Mountain, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at Johnson City Medical Center.
She was a native of Carter County and a daughter of the late Robert Carroll and Mary Eloise Heaton Gray.
Linda was much beloved by her family because of her gentle, smiling ways and her selfless service to them through her extraordinary seamstress skills and expertise in the kitchen. She took a lot of pride in her nieces and nephews, and especially loved Victoria, with whom she spent many, many hours. She loved and served her Lord, and visited with Him each day; we rejoice that she is now in His presence.
Survivors include her sisters, Mary Shell and husband Joe of Roan Mountain, Pam Harr and husband Eugene of Bluff City and Robin Folse and husband Ricky of Roan Mountain; her brother, Carroll Gray and wife Glenda of Johnson City; and her nieces and nephews, Reba Ann Gray, Steven Shell, Emily Russell, Laura Chandler, Madison Harr and Victoria Hughes.
The funeral service for Miss Gray will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 27, in the Rhododendron Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home, Roan Mountain, with Rev. Richard Stout and Rev. The graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 28, in the Johnson-Roanview Cemetery.
