Margaret Henderson


Margaret Henderson, 59, of Johnson City, passed on to be with her God and her Mother, from her residence on Monday, April 29, 2013, following a brief illness.
She was born in Indiana, but had lived most of her life in the East Tennessee area. She was the daughter of the late Noah and Catherine Hart Fulton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two favorite pets, Sunnie and Mistey.
Ms. Henderson was a convenience store manager and supervisor for several area stores. She enjoyed fishing, working, going to the beach and dogs.
Survivors include her lifelong companion, David Henderson, of the home; a son, Donnie White and his wife Rebecca, Elizabethton; two grandchildren, Phillip and Andrew White, both of Elizabethton; a great-grandson, Peyton White, Elizabethton; a sister, Jena Booker, Elizabethton; and her pets, Bonnie and Kattie.
A gathering of remembrance for Ms. Henderson will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton, with Rev. Bill Younce and Rev. Ricky Laws officiating. The family will receive friends in the funeral home chapel from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, prior to the service. The committal and inurnment service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, May 3, in the George Mottern Cemetery. Those wishing to attend the service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday to go in procession. Those who prefer memorials in lieu of flowers may make donations to the Carter County Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 134, Elizabethton, TN 37644.
