Maril Campbell Vines, 85, Elizabethton, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at her residence.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Roy and Fina Simerly Campbell.
Mrs. Vines was a graduate of Elizabethton High School. She was a homemaker and a member of East Side Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Vines, November 1971; a son, Robert Michael Vines; and a sister, Barbara Calhoun.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Terry Wayne and Linda Vines, Casper, Wyo.; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Jean Powell, Elizabethton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
It was her wish to be cremated and no services are planned. Condolences to the Vines family may be e-mailed to mfc@chartertn. net.
