A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Alverta Greening.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and loved her family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Rondal Jack Anderson, October 25, 1994, by a daughter: Brenda Wagner; and a granddaughter: Ronda Kiser.
Survivors include her children: Robert “Doug” Frazier of the home; Jeanette Stevens, Hampton; Arlene Absher and husband, Larry, Elizabethton; Libby Stout and husband, Kevin, Elizabethton; Wes Frazier and wife, Betty, Elizabethton; Jacqueline Woodward and husband, Woody, Watauga; Rondal Anderson, Jr and wife, Debbie, Elizabethton; Beverly Davenport & husband, Richard, Elizabethton; and Larry Anderson Absher and wife, Holly, Watauga.
She is also survived by 20 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren; a son-in-law, Darrell Wagner; several nieces & nephews, and special friend. Judy Burrow.
The late Faye Anderson Egolf was also a special friend to Mrs. Anderson.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Monday in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Dr. Joe Sorah officiating. Graveside Service and Interment will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 2, 2012, in Highland Cemetery. Music will be provided by her granddaughter, Brandy Bowers and Carol Bowers, organist. Active Pallbearers will be her Grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dr. Christopher Downs, Danny Avery, Freddie Julian, Steve Gouge and Roger Brockwell.
The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Jessica Stevens & family, the Elizabethton Police Department, the 2700 Wing, Johnson City Medical Center and Dr. Jeff Schoondyke.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Friends may also visit at her residence. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday to go to the cemetery. Condolences may be e-mailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
