GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Nancy Jean Darling, 68, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel A. Darling; her parents, Arthur McKinney and Polly Hyder McKinney; and a brother, Dana Alton McKinney.
Nancy Jean was an avid golfer and a member of Blythefield Country Club, where for many years she was responsible for the planting and landscaping of the flowers. She served as president of the Woman’s City Golf Association from 1999-2000.
Nancy Jean is survived by her sisters, Bernadine Bowman of Clarksville, Tenn., Garnetta Booth, Ramona Crowe and Dolores Crowe, all of Johnson City, Tenn.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 5, at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, 2800 Burton Street SE, Grand Rapids, Mich. Inurnment will be at Graceland Memorial Park, Grand Rapids. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
