Nola Karen Dugger, 57, of Kingsport died at her home, 1011 Stonegate Rd., Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013.
She was born Oct. 29, 1955, in Hot Springs, AR. Nola married Billy Dugger May 12, 1997.
She loved animals, including her pet bird “Max,” and had a passion for the outdoors and loved gardening.
Nola had a heart of gold and helped others in each and every way she could.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce and James Jefferson.
Nola is survived by her husband, Billy Dugger; a daughter, Eden Karen MacDonald; a son, John Jefferson; a sister, Jane Rattenni; a brother, John Jefferson and wife, Carla; two grandsons, Davyn Robert Ricketts and Bryce Anthony Ricketts; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends Sunday, February 3, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hamlett-Dobson, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Billy Dugger to help with all expenses.
