Roger L. Gibson

Roger L. Gibson, 64, Johnson City, entered into rest, Saturday, July 20,
2013, at his residence.

Mr. Gibson was a native of Jackson, Ohio, and had lived in Johnson City
since 1963.

He was a son of the late Howard P. Gibson and Judy Gibson and was alsopreceded in death by one brother, Donnie G. Gibson and several uncles, aunts. and one nephew.

Mr. Gibson was a carpenter.

He was a member of Freedom Road Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Vietnam War Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Edna Feltner Gibson; one daughter, Shelia
Segura and husband, Larry, Texas; one son, Richard Gibson and wife, Dee,
W. Va.; two sisters, Sandy Price, Elizabethton, and Carolyn Howington,
Unicoi; two brothers, Johnny H. Gibson, Elizabethton, and Dale Gibson,
Elizabethton; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several
nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2013, at
Tetrick Funeral and Cremation Services, Johnson City. The family will
receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A military
honors committal service will be held at a later date at Mountain Home
National Cemetery, Mountain Home, Tenn. The Rev. Johnny Hilton will
