Oversight Committee working to repair carillon clock

Work is underway to repair the carillon clock at the Veterans Wall of Honor. The clock for several months has been stuck at 12:20. The clock’s parts are being inspected and tested by the factory that made it to determine which part is not working properly.
Time seems to have stood still in downtown Elizabethton. The carillon clock at the Veterans Walk of Honor and War Memorial has been stuck at 12:20 for the past few months. The lack of movement from the clock has drawn the attention of visitors to downtown and the Veteran’s War Memorial Oversight Committee assures the community they are working to have the clock repaired.
