Paddleboard race raises $200 for shelter building fund

Women’s division winners in the Off the Grid Adventures paddleboard race were Debbie Conrad,
Karen Fortune with Jazmine, Judi Jones and Melissa Presnell. The race was held as a fundraiser for
the Elizabethton Carter County Animal Shelter Building Fund.
Animal lovers and animal shelter supporters took to the water Monday evening to compete in the Paddle for Pets paddleboard race to benefit the Elizabethton Carter County Animal Shelter Building Fund.
The race, which was sponsored by Off the Grid Adventures in Hampton, raised about $200 for the animal shelter building fund.
