SNEEDVILLE — Hancock County started strong, but Unaka was quick to permanently seize the momentum.
In an early hole, the Rangers roared back to hammer the Indians 34-7 on Friday night in Mountain East Conference football action. It marked the first win of the season for Unaka (1-4, 1-2).
“It was good,” said Steve McKinney, coach of the Rangers. “It was a good win for the kids. I can’t say enough about the offensive line, the stuff they done, and the coaches — how they prepared them.
“I’m excited about it. The kids are excited.”
