8:56 am Reader encourages recycling to save environment
To the Editor:
Even though it often seems a burden to sort through trash and left over junk, I urge each of you to take the time to recycle. So much plastic, glass, aluminum and cardboard is sent off to the landfill every week by area businesses, churches and offices it is saddening. Please remember your children’s future resources, not to mention your grandchildren and beyond!
Make it a family or church project! Teach your young ones to be considerate of their environment. Better yet, set a good example when around them and inbed in them a wholesome responsibility that will carry into their future.
