Rebels make presence felt in Three Rivers jamboree

By

Sullivan South needed one play to welcome itself into the Three Rivers Conference.
A 70-yard strike from Dylan Weiger to Will Blair on the opening play of the third quarter ignited a 21-7 decision over defending league champ Elizabethton during Friday’s jamboree at Brown-Childress Stadium.
Johnson County and Happy Valley also had solid showings on the night, but the Rebels brought a silence over the home audience with scoring drives on each of its first three possessions while shutting down the Cyclone offense.
