Relay for Life: A full schedule of entertainment planned

There’s not a dull moment during the annual Carter County Relay for Life. This year’s event will include musical concerts, dance performances, games and much more.

The schedule for entertainment performances during the 2012 Relay for Life is as follows:

Union Bridge is scheduled to perform at the Carter County Relay for Life.

• 5 p.m. — JB and Friends will perform on Stage A

• 5:30 p.m. — Kim Lyons and David will perform on Stage A

Joyful Noise is one of several entertainment acts scheduled to perform during this year’s Relay for Life.

• 6 p.m. — The Phillippi Male Choral Group will perform on Stage B

• 6:40 p.m. — Watts Showroom Dancers will perform in the field

• 7 p.m. — The Opening Ceremony will begin on Stage A, led by Eric McCracken. Pastor Berry Pettit will lead the prayer of blessing for the Relay which will be followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and Star Spangled Banner. The Survivors Walk Lap will be next followed by the Care Givers Walk Lap and then the Team Walk Lap.

• 8 p.m. — The Bulls Eye Band will play on Stage B

• 8:45 p.m. — The Phillippi Male Choral Group will perform on Stage B

• 9:30 p.m. — The Luminary ceremony will begin

• 10 p.m. — Joyful Noise will perform on Stage A

• 10:45 p.m. — Union Bridge will play on Stage A

• 11:30 p.m. — 7 Day Design will play on Stage B

• Midnight -5 a.m. — A variety of games will be played around the track. These games will include Frozen T-Shirt, Mystery Food Relay, Suitcase Relay, Minute to Win It, Scavenger Hunt, Toilet Paper Fashion Show, Eating Contest, Water Relay, Oreo Challenge, Popping Out Cancer, High Heel Relay and Hula Hoop Pass.

• 12:30 a.m. — Lore will play on Stage B

• 1:30- 3 am. — Karaoke with Rhonda’s Karaoke on Stage A

• 2 a.m. — Cornhole Tournament, both for singles and doubles

• 3 a.m. — Lore will play on Stage A

• 4 a.m. — JB and Kim Lyons will host a camp fire sing along with smores at Stage A

• 5:15 a.m. — Open Mike on Stage B

• 6:30 a.m. — Closing Ceremony

• 7 a.m. — Closing Prayer
