Announcement is made today of the engagement of Melanie Jean Russell and Christopher Ray Hall.

 

The bride-elect is the daughter of Glen Scott and Connie Scott of Elizabethton. She is the granddaughter of Jean Haire of Dunn, N.C., and the late William Haire, and the late Ernest and Laura Scott.

 

Her fiancé is the son of Gloria Hall of Elizabethton and the late Ronnie Hall. He is the grandson of the late Spencer and Juanita Hall and the late Cart and Ama Whaley.

 

Melanie and Christopher will be married during a private ceremony on Friday, November 11, 2011.
